Mrs Ophelia Challenger, 2rd Grade

Ophelia was born in the beautiful nature isle of the Caribbean,Dominica. She grew up in the small village of Bataca in the Kalinago Territory. She attended the St.Andrews High School and then moved on to the Dominica State College where she graduated with a Diploma in Agriculture. At the age of 18 she gave her life to the Lord and is now married with 4 beautiful

children.

For the past 23 years she has been a teacher at the Lighthouse Christian Academy and at present teaches at the grade 3 level. She has a passion for teaching but her main goal is to win the young hearts for the Lord.

One of her favorite Bible verses is Philippians 4:16 – ‘ I can do all

things through Christ who strengthens me. Ophelia loves many outdoor activities such as hiking, going to the beach and rivers as well as gardening. (Psalms 24:1) – ‘The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness therein, the world and they that dwell therein.
