Miss Amanda Prevost, 6th Grade Teacher
Hello! My name is Amanda, and I am honored to serve as the Grade 6 teacher at Lighthouse Christian Academy. With over a decade of experience in education spanning primary, secondary, and tertiary levels, it is a true joy to guide students through these formative years.
I strongly believe that a Christ-centered education is vital for shaping the precious hearts and minds of young learners. By grounding academic growth in biblical truth, we help set children on a trajectory to fulfill their God-given potential and become positive, productive members of society.
In my classroom, I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and dynamic environment where curiosity is celebrated, questions are encouraged, and every student feels valued. It is a true joy to walk alongside my students as they discover who God created them to be.
Outside of the classroom, I cherish spending quality time with my family. You can often find me enjoying God’s creation while walking and hiking, exploring new places through travel, or relaxing with a good book.
